"Just started working in Caswell and a coworker brought me here for lunch today. I used to eat at places like this when I was a kid and I didn’t think places like this existed anymore. I was absolutely delighted. The food was amazing. True old school country cooking family restaurant. The staff and food was amazing."

"Best hamburger I have had in a long time. My sister had a homemade meal of hamburger steak, green beans, and real mashed potatoes. The restaurant was clean, and the bathrooms were in great shape. I got a whole homemade strawberry cake to take home. Great people, and if we are anywhere near this place, we will be back. I recommend this place highly. Must try!!"

"I love Lillards. This place is home style cooking to the extreme. The building is cozy, small and fairly crowded truth be told. The restrooms are always clean, and the dining area, is crowded but clean and homey. You come to Lillards to see your company. You talk to the people at the next table, or even sit with a stranger or a new friend. The food prices are great, with a meal being approximately ten bucks. Desserts are made fresh daily by a local, with an assortment of pies and cakes available. The hot bar is always a treat. Fridays are fish days, and the assortment in the hot bar never disappoints. I’m partial to their chicken gizzards when they have them. Overall, I adore this place and highly recommend it to anyone driving through the area. The only downside is they’re on open for breakfast and lunch most days!"
